Today the boys traveled to play Berwick who are currently undefeated. While it was always going to be a mountain to climb; we can’t improve with 14 of our 24 listed players turning up to training. There needs to be commitment and respect and finish off the year as best we can. The next 2 weeks we as a team need to hold our heads high and do our best.

Today the Noble team faced 2nd placed foxes; previously these two teams meet in round 1 with foxes enjoying a win kicking 25 goals. Several players were missing due to injury and illness leaving only 18 players available to take the field. In an inspirational performance the noble boys went down fighting however restricting foxes to only 14 goals. A fantastic effort and some great individual performances.
As Coach I was proud and honored to coach these boys who each week when asked are prepared to take the challenge.

This week’s game saw the boys square off against Narre black from Last years div 2 grand final. We needed to lift from what was a win but a lot of improvement to play better as a team. Having a lot of the ball in the first qtr bad kicking saw noble kick 2.8. A good contest in the second qtr had the boys in at half time with a 4 goal lead. Coach Mark Evans blasted the boys at half time we are your own worst enemy at times. A steady third quarter had Narre on the ropes and a great team last qtr with the boys booting 9 goals to nil to run out easy winners by 91 points. With 2 wins this year it would appear we will be staying up WELL DONE BOYS. Great to see the return of the kritter. Next Sunday Vs TBA .

To 3 behinds however a determined fountain gate in the second half took it up to noble a poor 3rd quarter kicking 1.5 and bad use of the ball keep fountain in the game but the boys held on to win 12.13 to 6.6. Great game by Juzzy and Diggers 4 goals with limited opportunities great to see. Lots of hard work to be done for next week’s game. Next Sunday at away Vs Narre Warren black 11am

This week the noble park boys played last year’s 2nd placed Beaconsfield
The noble boys faced a Beaconsfield side coming off a 35 goal win last week.
From the very start the guys were absolutely fantastic hard at the ball all day.
At 3 quarter time it was 17 goals to 2 and beacy were really had to work for every goal. The boys struggled in the last quarter allowing them to kick 9 goals to nil which was a somewhat disappointing finish. A great improvement though. The next 2 weeks is crunch time for the boys and I am sure the boys will rise to the occasion and represent the club well.
